Government edition of Airviro

Due to an increased awareness of IT security threats, there is an ongoing work to improve the security in Airviro and we will release a government security edition of Airviro in mid 2023 (with version 6.00). The edition will include:

• The possibility to deploy in a 3-tier architecture setup: A web tier, an application tier and a database tier.
• Main & Reserve system combined with 3-tier architecture setup, i.e. on six servers instead of two, for high security and availability.
• Encrypted data in the database tier, which means that all data stored in the database as well as the transport to/from the application layer is encrypted at all times.
• Improved authentication and session handling in Airviro to minimize the risk of intrusion.
• The data collection module in Airviro is built using plug-ins for communicating with various instruments and loggers and enables developments of protocols with channel/link encryption. Examples of such protocols are HTTPS, MQTT and OPC UA.
• Deployment of Airviro in a cloud environment such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is possible and already used by some of our customers.
